Although it may not seem like it when you look at the weather forecast, spring is right around the corner!

While lots of people are worried about snow this time of year, we have been busy working hard to prepare for the spring season. Our crews are out in the field winter pruning our dormant trees. We are also working through our hoop houses, cleaning old growth on our vernalized perennials. Next week, our first shipment of bare root liners comes in from the west coast. The next few editions of the grower gazette will talk about some of these early spring projects during these cold months at the nursery.
